Taddei has been with Roma since 2005 but has fallen down the pecking order under coach Luis Enrique, having made just two appearances in Serie A so far this season.
The midfielder, who started just 13 times in the league last campaign, has been used as a full-back on occasions and his representative has now given a hint that the 31-year-old could leave the Stadio Olimpico in two months’ time should he not be given more opportunities.
“Will Taddei leave in January? It’s too early to talk about his future, but one thing is certain: Rodrigo has been given very little room despite the fact he is a player who can still give so much more to Roma,” Alessandro Lucci told TMW.
“He is tied to the Giallorossi colours and is in good shape physically. He has everything he needs to do well at Roma, but if the situation remains like this in January then we’ll meet with the club to discuss his future.”
“PSG [Paris Saint-Germain] are not the only club interested in Taddei,” continued Lucci. “It’s true he went to Paris, but it was purely on vacation and nothing more.
“He continues to be attractive to many sides in Italy, but above all in England. There are many big European clubs ready to step forward, so we’ll see what happens.”
